Two Decade of Synergy: Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih and PMI Malang Host Ramadan Blood Drive

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with the Malang City PMI, organized a Ramadan Blood Donation Drive from March 12 to 14, 2026. The event, held at the Malang City PMI Blood Donor Unit (UDD) Office from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM WIB, successfully collected 1,500 units of blood.

This initiative helps secure blood reserves throughout the month of Ramadan until the Eid al-Fitr holidays. As blood stocks typically decline during the fasting month, maintaining a stable supply is vital for patients who rely on regular blood transfusions for their ongoing medical treatments.

To support the drive, YPP provided 1,625 ready-to-eat meal packages for donors and the medical staff on duty. The partnership between Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih and Malang City PMI in organizing these Ramadan blood drives has been established for 20 years, dating back to 2006.

The event was attended by Mr. Drs. Imam Buchori, Chairperson of Malang City PMI, and Dr. Luluk Retno Wulan, Head of the Malang City PMI Blood Donor Unit. Through this decade-long collaboration, it is hoped that the spirit of community care will continue to thrive in supporting those in need of medical assistance.
