YPP Shows Concern for Toddlers Suffering from Biliary Atresia

SCTV Indosiar's Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) provided 10 packages of childcare equipment to survivors of Biliary Atresia under the care of Rumah Satu Hati Foundation on October 24, 2022.

Located at the Pejuang Hati Halfway House, Kenari Street 2, No. 177, Senen, Central Jakarta, aid was handed over by the General Manager of YPP, Abas Yahya, to the children. The childcare equipment consisted of a Toiletries Gift Pack (hair & body wash, baby lotion, baby cream, baby wipes, song QR code card, washcloth), BABY Oil, Towels, Tissue, and Pampers.

The Rumah Satu Hati Foundation has been active in spreading awareness regarding Biliary Atresia since 2017, with their support being awarded at the Liputan6 Awards 2022 in the Humanitarian category.

This foundation also manages a halfway house for Biliary Atresia patients who come from areas beyond the region, the Pejuang Hati Halfway House. These houses serve to help patients who need long-term treatment away from their hometowns. Such is the case for these Biliary Atresia patients. The only place allowed to perform liver transplant surgery is RSCM Jakarta, where screening and examinations required in the process of carrying out the transplant takes up to years.

This is the role Pejuang Hati Halfway House plays in providing temporary accommodation for patients from out of town who are economically disadvantaged. The foundation also provides assistance to patients through the stages up to the liver transplantation process.

Apart from childcare equipment packages, YPP SCTV Indosiar and Adaro also provided 25 food packages for daily consumption to the residents of the Pejuang Hati Halfway House.
