YPP Provides Vending Carts in Lampung

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation SCTV Indosiar handed over 15 vending carts to residents of Tanjung Anom on March 29, 2023.

For almost 50 years, Tanjung Anom has been home for transmigrants with its current population of third-generation migrants.

The assistance was done in hopes of restarting the residents’ trading activities, which were temporarily stopped for 2 years due to COVID-19. The Executive Chairman of YPP and President Director of Indosiar, Imam Sudjarwo, conducted the symbolic handover of the 15 vending carts. Owners of the carts went on to brand their carts with interesting names for their businesses, such as: Pengabdi Bakso, Molen Mini, Gorengan Bude Bandar, and so on.

According to the executive chairman of YPP, the distribution highlights YPP’s commitment to empowering underprivileged communities. Seeing the residents’ enthusiasm and desire to start trading again, YPP took initiative to provide assistance with the 15 vending carts, taking into consideration hygienic standards with the carts they have provided. It is hoped that these traders will be able to reap fortune and benefits that will not only be favorable for them, but also the Tanjung Anom community as a whole.

Also present at this event was the Head of Tanjung Anom Village, Wasis Trisnohadi, and Advisor of the Sahabat Peduli Indonesia Foundation, Tonny Swardi.
