YPP, AO Care, SPBK Cicendo, and Majalengka Regional Government Organize Cataract Surgery Social Service Program at Cigasong Health Center in Majalengka

YPP and AO Care have collaborated to hold a cataract social service activity at the Cigasong Health Center, Majalengka Regency. This social service was also held in collaboration with SPBK Jabar, Cicendo and the Majalengka Regency Government, aiming to treat 50 eyes. There is a significant number of daily informal farm laborers who are classified as economically disadvantaged and face difficulties in taking care of their medical insurance. Adding to that, the population also continues to age. Many of these people suffer from cataracts and are not able to treat them, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, which only results in an increase in cataract sufferers. The Regent of Majalengka represented his community who received free cataract treatment assistance, giving thanks for the cooperation of all parties for the success of this cataract surgery social service activity.
