Prosthetic Leg Assistance for Hassanuddin

The 36-year-old man, who works as a sewing laborer from Tasikmalaya, had an accident and suffered from bone cell disorders. As a result of irregular treatment due to lack of funds, his lower right leg had to be amputated at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung and he received a prosthetic leg from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the West Java Health Office. However, over time the prosthetic leg was damaged and no longer comfortable to wear, so in 2016, Hassanuddin applied to YPAPK for prosthetic leg assistance. The delivery of the prosthetic limbs was held at New Underpass Street, Duren Jaya, East Bekasi on July 19, 2017.

It is hoped that the new prosthetic leg can help Hassanuddin carry out his daily activities and work better.
