Free Cataract Surgeries in Jogja

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation SCTV Indosiar (YPP) has worked together with the Brimob Family (PKBB), Bhayangkara Regional Police DIY Hospital, and PERDAMI Yogyakarta to organize the Cataract Operation Social Service program held on August 19, 2023.

Patients have visited the Bhayangkara Regional Police DIY Hospital since early in the morning to take part in free cataract surgeries. PERDAMI deployed 6 ophthalmologists in support of this activity. In total, 35 patients were able to undergo the surgeries successfully.

This event was attended by the Executive Chairman of YPP and PKBB,  Imam Sudjarwo and his staff; the Chief Executive of YPP,  Abas Yahya and  Dewi Yudho Miranti; Chairman of PERDAMI Yogyakarta, Kabidokkes Polda DIY, and Karumkit RS Bhayangkara.
