YPP continues its efforts in providing clean water to people across Indonesia. One of them is through the Border Heroes program which was held to coincide with Indosiar's 2020 anniversary. On 19 June 2022, YPP returned to the location to inaugurate the installation of water pipes, reservoirs, and spring wells in Fohoeka village, Kupang, NTT. Through collaboration with the Hati Kudus Yesus Laktutus Parish, represented by Father Yohanes Kristo Tara OFM, YPP and Indosiar realized the request of the head priest of this parish to help fund the installation of pipes, new wells, reservoirs, and repair of abandoned water facilities.
Father Yohanes proposed this idea to help Fohoeka Village residents get clean water, especially as the dry season approaches. During these dry seasons, they have to draw water from far away places, crossing 3 hills to acquire clean water. Another option is to purchase tank water for Rp 300,000/month. This is because the quality of the water source closest to residential areas is not good and has caused many residents to suffer from skin diseases, kidney stones, coughs, and digestive problems. The clean water installation that Father Yohanes advocated for eased the burden on 150 families in the village, allowing them to enjoy clean water. In fact, water from this facility can also be used to water residents' hydroponic plants.
