680 Blood Bags Collected During Ramadan Blood Donation in Yogyakarta

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP) SCTV-Indosiar in collaboration with PMI Yogyakarta held a Ramadan Blood Donation "Meraih Berkah dengan Donor Blood" at the Kauman Gede Mosque Porch on June 1, 2019 from 16.00-23.00. A total of 680 donors successfully donated their blood. The event was attended by SCM CSR Director, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, who is also the Chairman of the SCTV-Indosiar Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation (YPP), SCTV CSR Director, Mr. Abas Yahya, Chairman of the Gede Kauman Mosque Management and Chairman of the Yogyakarta PMI Management.

On that occasion, CSR Director Imam Sudjarwo said, "YPP holds blood donation activities in the month of Ramadan routinely every year because we realize the importance of blood needs, especially in the month of Ramadan where blood stocks tend to decrease. Not only in Jogja this year we also held blood donation activities in other cities including Gresik Malang and Surabaya."Previously YPP SCTV-Indosiar has also held Ramadan Blood Donation in Surabaya, Gresik and Malang.
