YPP SCTV Indosiar Inaugurates 35th SCTV ASA Bridge in North Tapanuli to Celebrate SCTV's 36th Anniversary

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar officially inaugurated the 35th SCTV ASA Bridge in Parbaju Toruan Village, Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, on Friday, July 31, 2026. The inauguration was held in commemoration of SCTV's 36th Anniversary.

The ceremony was led by the CSR Director of PT SCM Tbk / General Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, alongside the Regent of North Tapanuli, Dr. Jonius Taripar Parsaoran Hutabarat, S.Si., M.Si., and attended by the Head of Parbaju Toruan Village, Mr. Henra Amit Hutabarat.

The 1.2 x 120 meter suspension bridge was constructed through a partnership between YPP and the Yayasan Relawan Kampung Indonesia (YRKI), made possible by the generosity and mutual aid of SCTV viewers across Indonesia. The bridge significantly enhances local mobility to farms, schools, markets, and healthcare centers, eliminating the need for residents to cross dangerous rivers or take a 7 km detour during floods.

In addition to the bridge handover, YPP distributed 150 food packages to local residents. Each package contained 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of flour, 1 liter of cooking oil, 520 ml of sweet soy sauce, and 2 packs of instant noodles. Through this initiative, Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih reaffirms its commitment to connecting communities and uplifting livelihoods in remote areas.
