YPP SCTV Indosiar Holds Cataract Surgery Humanitarian Action at Maranatha Hospital Bandung

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs' Sentra Wyata Guna, PERDAMI Central, and Selaras Community, held a cataract surgery humanitarian action on May 10-11, 2026. Located at Maranatha Hospital, Bandung Regency, this initiative targeted underprivileged residents facing financial barriers to medical treatment.

Supported by 26 ophthalmologists and 15 medical staff, the team successfully performed surgeries on 70 eyes. This collaboration aims to reduce cataract-related blindness in the Bandung area while helping residents regain their sight to lead more productive lives.
