Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar presented 300 School Bag Packages to orphanage children along with a Borehole Water Well project in Kendal Regency, Central Java, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. Held at the Kendal Regency Hall (Pendopo), the initiative was organized to celebrate the 421st Anniversary of Kendal Regency.
The 300 School Bag Packages were symbolically handed over by the General Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, to the Regent of Kendal, Mrs. Dyah Kartika Permanasari, before being presented directly to 10 child representatives. Each package contains comprehensive educational tools, including a school bag, notebooks, drawing books, colored pencils, 2B pencils, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, pens, pencil cases, and correction tape.
Alongside the educational aid, YPP partnered with the Kendal Regency Government to construct a 120-meter-deep Borehole Water Well in Sidokumpul Village, Patean District. This facility will serve approximately 200 households in Kalikunal Hamlet, who previously had to walk 200 meters across steep inclines carrying buckets and jugs up to 6–7 times daily for basic cooking, washing, and bathing needs. Through this multi-sector action, Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih reaffirms its commitment to empowering education and improving access to clean water for communities in need.
