Trauma Healing for Children Affected by the Sumatra Flash Floods and Landslides in Langkahan, North Aceh

Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, in collaboration with Ikatan Keluarga Alumni Universitas Islam Indonesia (IKA UII) and Mahasiswa Pecinta Alam Universitas Islam Indragiri (MAPALA UNISI), organized a Psychosocial Support Service for Children Affected by Flash Floods and Landslides in Geudumbak Village, Langkahan District, North Aceh Regency, on January 12, 2026.

Together with Ka Resha, 50 child survivors of the disaster were invited to play, tell stories, be creative, and learn. The children were very happy and enthusiastic about participating in this activity. The Trauma Healing activity provided some comfort to them amid the current unfavorable situation following the natural disaster, where many of their homes were damaged and destroyed by flash floods and landslides in late November 2025.

During the activity, YPP also distributed UHT milk and biscuits to the 50 children participating in the Trauma Healing session.
