Media Literacy Education at Cijantung State Elementary School 02, East Jakarta

Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation once again held the Media Literacy Education program on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

This time, the activities took place at Cijantung State Elementary School 02, East Jakarta.

The activities led by Kak Reza were carried out in 2 sessions. Session 1 was conducted for students in 1st to 3rd grade at 9 a.m.

While waiting, students in 4th to 6th grade spent time reading books from the Weli Car (Bookmobile) on the school field. At 10 AM, Session 2 began for students in 4th to 6th grade.

The students were reported to have been very enthusiastic, frequently asking and answering questions about the media. Through the improvement of media literacy, it is hoped that students can increase understanding regarding modern media, how to properly navigate their way around media, and the limits of accessing media.

YPP also gave out souvenirs to students who actively participated in the games, the souvenirs were: 

• 70 drinking bottles
• 60 books
• 60 pens
