Media Literacy at SDN Balimester 01, East Jakarta

On November 1, 2024, YPP held a Media Literacy activity with the theme Anti-bullying, wise social media and anti-pornography at Balimester 01 State Elementary School (SDN) which was attended by 300 students.

The Vice Principal of SDN Balimester 01, Mr. Kusniadi, S.Pd, expressed his gratitude for the activities of YPP SCTV Indosiar. He highly appreciated the literacy activities organized by YPP, IMDE, SCTV, and Indosiar. This activity is very useful in increasing children's interest in reading and encouraging them to better understand the material they read.

The education focused on understanding the appropriate content for their age, the safe age limit to start using social media, and how to recognize the age limit code in movies and TV shows.

The education material was given by IMDE Lecturers in the form of interactive games, moral stories, and various simulations that made the children happy to be able to absorb the information conveyed happily.

This activity is expected to help the students to be more careful when engaging in the world of social media.
