Iftar with residents of Gang Mawar, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta

Located at the Neighborhood Secretariat Office, the residents of Gang Mawar listened intently to the sermon and holy verses delivered by Ustadz Masykur on June 14, 2017. Around 250 residents consisting of adults and children attended the Iftar event organized by YPAPK in collaboration with Yayasan Pondok Kasih. In addition to the tausiah, there was also a question and answer session about Ramadan and Islam for children, and for those who can answer correctly, Yayasan Pondok Kasih has prepared unique prizes in the form of toys.

The event ended with breaking the fast with takjil, Maghrib prayers together, and lining up sarongs and rice boxes to take home to each other and prepare for tarawih prayers at the local mosque. It is hoped that this event can add insight to the residents of Gang Mawar and further strengthen the relationship between YPAPK, Pondok Kasih and the community.
