04-22-2025Free Cataract Surgery in PALI, South Sumatra
On 18-19 April 2025, Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar in collaboration with Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association (PERDAMI), and Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency Government organized a Cataract Surgery Social Service at RSUD Talang Ubi, Pali Regency, South Sumatra.
The event was supported by 6 ophthalmologists and has successfully treated 88 eyes for cataract surgery.
The event was also attended by the Vice Regent of Pali, Mr. Iwan Tuaji and the Director of Social Rehabilitation for the Elderly of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Dr. Dra. Suratna, M.Psi.
