Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV-Indosiar celebrated its 9th anniversary of operations through an inspiring YPP Awards 2024 event on Friday, November 15, 2024 at the 8th Floor Studio, SCTV Tower, Jakarta. The event was enlivened with awards to partners and individuals who have contributed to various social and humanitarian programs.
The Chairman of YPP, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, emphasized the important role of partners in supporting the sustainability of humanitarian missions.
“For nine years, we have made positive contributions to underprivileged communities in the sectors of Health, Education, Environment, and Disaster Relief. This award is a form of appreciation to those who have been with us on this journey,” he said in a brief speech.
Not only giving awards, one of the highlight of this event was the soft launching of “YPP Peduli” mobile application. This app is designed to simplify the process of channeling donations in a transparent and accountable manner.
According to Imam, this application was created to increase accountability, transparency, and simplify donations. Therefore, YPP hopes that this app can strengthen the public's trust while also encouraging more people to be involved in social activities.
The app was successfully developed in collaboration with LMNI and their team. Users can access various features that facilitate the donation process and monitor the use of funds channeled. The YPP Peduli app is scheduled to be fully operational by early January 2025.
Director of Social Resources Empowerment of Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Laode Taufik, represented the Minister of Social Affairs in this event. He expressed his appreciation for YPP's work as a strategic partner of the government in accelerating social programs.
“The launch of the YPP Peduli app is a step forward that utilizes technology to increase social impact. With transparency and compliance with regulations, we believe that public trust in YPP will be even stronger,” said Laode.
For information, in the last nine years, YPP has made a major impact throughout Indonesia, such as cataract surgery to nearly 14,000 patients, construction of 32 bridges, as well as humanitarian assistance during disaster emergency response.
As such, the YPP Awards 2024 event is not only an awarding ceremony, but also a momentum to strengthen collaboration to reach more people in need.
