Celebrating 9th Anniversary, YPP SCTV-Indosiar Soft Launches YPP Peduli Application and Awards Partners and Donors

In celebration of the 9th Anniversary of Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) SCTV Indosiar, YPP honored the partners and donors who have contributed during their 9-year journey.

In his speech, the Chairman of YPP SCTV Indosiar, Mr. Imam Sudjarwo, said that YPP has made a significant impact since 2015. Therefore, the YPP Awards 2024 was held as a form of appreciation for the contributions that have been given by various parties to underprivileged and disadvantaged communities.

“We are giving appreciation as a form of YPP's gratitude to all of you who have been with YPP for the past 9 years, and have provided many benefits to the people in the country,” said Imam in Jakarta, Friday (11/15/2024).

Mr. Imam further explained that the purpose of the award is also to inspire more parties to help those in need. There are four sectors of activities that YPP SCTV Indosiar focuses on, which are Health, Education, Environment, and Disaster Relief.

“In the health sector, some of the activities that have been carried out are cataract surgery which has benefited 13,497 patients. Then general treatment and blood donation which reached 88,300 donors.”

Meanwhile, in the environmental sector, the activities that have been carried out by YPP SCTV Indosiar are the construction of 78 units of toilets and sanitation facilities, distribution of 189,837 food packages, and the construction of 32 units of the Bridge of Hope (Jembatan Asa).

On the other hand, in education, the activities that have been carried out are providing scholarships to 142 college students, building 240 orphanages, and 24 school buildings. 

“Then for disaster relief, YPP has always been present in every disaster that occurs throughout the country,” said Imam.
 

The Soft Launching of the 'YPP Peduli' Mobile App

On the same occasion, YPP also soft launched the “YPP Peduli” application which is designed to simplify the public in channeling their donations in a transparent and accountable manner. 

“This application was created to support transparency and simplify donations. Users can access various features that facilitate the donation process and monitor the use of funds channeled,” Mr. Imam explained.
 

Cinta Laura Encourages Collaboration in Social Activities

Cinta Laura stated that social activities are something that should be integrated into everyone's life. While receiving the Most Inpiring Millennial award at the YPP Awards, Cinta said that despite Indonesia's remarkable development, it can still be seen that there is an inequality in the foundation of education outside Java.

“This is a challenge that we must face in the upcoming years. I believe that as long as we are willing to collaborate and not be discouraged, the problems of education, gender equality, violence, and so on, can slowly be reduced in our country,” said Cinta. 

“I am just one of many people who have done things that are much more impactful. With more and more figures being awarded, hopefully we will realize that there are people in our country who care. In fact, there are many,” she concluded.
